Shana Carson, Esq. is the founder of Kelley Carson Law, P.L.L.C. In addition to running her own solo practice, she is also Of Counsel in the area of family law at McCland Law. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida, majoring in theatre. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law at Barry University with a concentration in Children and Families in 2008. While in law school, Shana was a law clerk for the Honorable Walter Komanski, participated in the Children and Family Clinic as an Attorney ad Litem, was a County Mediator for two years for the 9th Judicial Circuit, and received the Fellowship for Achievement in Civil Excellence for her legal service to her community as a Guardian ad Litem.
Prior to founding Kelley Carson Law, P.L.L.C, Shana was in private family law and estate planning practice, was Assistant Regional Counsel for the State of Florida for Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel in the 9th Judicial Circuit, and then worked for two large Orlando law firms. She represented hundreds of clients in all aspects of their family law and dependency cases. Her experience as an attorney for the State and as a solo practitioner makes her qualified to assist clients through every phase of their cases in each of her practice areas. Her pro bono service includes over a decade as a Guardian ad Litem in the 18th Judicial Circuit.
Shana also gives back to her community through her involvement with East Orange County chapter of Kiwanis (2020-21), Legal Aid Society of Orange County GAL program, PTA, and other pro bono work. Currently, she is serving a second two-year appointment as Arts and Culture Chair on the Orange County Sustainability Advisory Board (SAB). She also served on the Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings' Sustainability & Resilience Committee and Supply Chain and Materials sub-committee to develop long-term sustainability goals and strategies for the benefit of Orange County, her home for over 20 years.
Shana is admitted to practice before all Florida State Courts.
